The TurkCzech Joint Chamber of Commerce is a private, non-profit institution established to strengthen and facilitate economic and commercial relations between Turkey and the Czech Republic. Based in Istanbul — a historical nexus of commerce — the Chamber serves as a bilateral catalyst for trade and investment cooperation.

The Chamber is led by President Petra Vosykova, a Czech entrepreneur and legal expert based in Istanbul.
Petra Vosykova, LLB, LLM is the founder and managing director of a boutique consulting and trading firm based in Istanbul, specializing in cross-border business development between Central Europe and the Middle East. Born in Prague, Petra was educated at The English College in Prague, an academically selective British international school. She later moved to London to pursue her legal education, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), followed by a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade and Commercial Law from the University of Essex.
Her academic background laid a solid foundation for her career in international business. In 2018, Petra relocated to Istanbul, a strategic commercial hub linking Europe and Asia, where she established her company with the aim of facilitating global trade partnerships. Since then, she has been actively involved in import and export operations with more than 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Her company has successfully introduced numerous Czech manufacturers and brands to the Turkish market, providing end-to-end support from market research and regulatory compliance to local distribution and logistics. She has likewise enabled Turkish companies to expand their presence into Central and Eastern Europe, leveraging her deep understanding of both business cultures and legal frameworks.
Petra’s areas of expertise include international trade law, contract negotiation, market entry strategy, and commercial risk management. Her multidisciplinary approach combines legal insight with practical business execution, offering clients strategic guidance and hands-on operational support. She is fluent in Czech, English, Turkish, and French, allowing her to conduct business with fluency and precision across linguistic and cultural boundaries. Petra is also the co-founder of CzechTurk, a platform dedicated to strengthening commercial ties between the Czech Republic and Turkey through trade, networking, and collaboration.
Driven by her roots in Prague and her professional journey in Istanbul, Petra is passionate about building a lasting economic dialogue between the Czech and Turkish business communities, grounded in trust, innovation, and shared opportunity. Her long-term vision is to deepen the commercial and cultural ties between the two countries by building bridges between businesses, fostering bilateral investments, and encouraging strategic partnerships across sectors.
